I never thought that a chocolate could be Halal or Haraam. What thing can make a chocolate haraam? Milk???

Yes, milk can make a chocolate haraam. We eat a lot of milk chocolates but we never wonder that which milk is it. Could this milk be of a haraam animal.

Does it matters if it is of a haraam animal or not???

Yes, it do matters. In Islam, every product of a haraam animal is also haraam.

Reference???

See the reference below.

Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:
I heard Allah’s Apostle, in the year of the Conquest of Mecca, saying, “Allah and His Apostle made illegal the trade of alcohol, dead animals, pigs and idols.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What about the fat of dead animals, for it was used for greasing the boats and the hides; and people use it for lights?” He said, “No, it is illegal.” Allah’s Apostle further said, “May Allah curse the Jews, for Allah made the fat (of animals) illegal for them, yet they melted the fat and sold it and ate its price.” [Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan an-Nisa'i, al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Ibn Maajah, Mishkaat, Sunan ad-Darmi, etc.]

It came to my mind when I was holding a chocolate wrapper which had printed on it “German Milk”.

German Milk?

The milk produced from Germany.

But Germany is not an Islamic country. There live many non-Muslims who do not have any prohibition of halal and haraam food. That means Germany HAS TO PRODUCE Halal as well as Haraam food. And, as Germany is not an Islamic country, it do NOT HAVE TO LABEL it as Halal or Haraam. So, it do not matters them whatever milk are they using for chocolate. But, it do matters a Muslim that which milk (product) is s/he consuming.

So, at last, it is a duty of a Muslim to verify which product is s/he consuming. But, how can an individual verify this thing? We do not ask anything from non-Muslim countries. We only ask from Muslim countries to also label the halal verified chocolates as Halal. In Muslim counties, like Pakistan, almost every product has a label of halal. So why not chocolates can have a halal label after verifying the contents of a chocolate?

Thank You on a Tissue Paper

Today I received another tissue gift as I received two, previously. It was from same friend and I’ve same feelings for this. The difference this time is that the tissue paper was perfumed (and I guess it was not a perfumed-tissue-paper but he perfumed it by his hands) and I don’t know the reason this time.

My Valentine’s Day Gift

On 14th February, 2013, Thursday, I received a gift from my friend. Before that day, he inquired a few times from me, “Is it necessary that Valentine’s Day gift be given to a girl? Can’t we give it to a boy?”

It was very innocent question and it made me smile. :)

I have a few issues with Valentine’s Day with regard to our religion and culture but I didn’t rejected his gift and I liked it a lot because pure love was reflecting in it. It was so beautiful that a few errors in it are nothing in front of that  beauty. I liked it so much that I wanted to share it with the whole world. It was only tissue till the moment it was not selected for this gift. But as soon as he selected this tissue and started carving it into a piece of gold (or might be something greater), it became precious.

Quote of “Snowflake”.

“Under the microscope, I found that snowflakes were miracles of beauty; and it seemed a shame that this beauty should not be seen and appreciated by others. Every crystal was a masterpiece of design and no one design was ever repeated., When a snowflake melted, that design was forever lost. Just that much beauty was gone, without leaving any record behind.”

When I open the door of my room, a ray of sunlight enters in it. The sunlight brightens the room by splitting the chest of darkness. In that light, I can see the dust on the doors and windows. The nets are hanging with roof and corners. I cannot see any spider but the nets are hanging there. The dust is residing on the body of books, placed in broken shelves. The glasses are filling with scratches. The locks and keys are changing every fortnight. The rags are filled with dust. The water drops and cracks the ceiling of my room. The birds are sitting at windows and bees at door. The shape of my room has been changed and I fear that soon it will become a ruined site for tourists to enjoy, on the name of ‘culture’. Portraying

He is called al-Musawwir. He portrays a child within the womb of a mother. He shapes millions of souls every day. Every person has been granted different voices just to distinguish between them and to illustrate the fact that He has made everyone with different thought. The variation of colour and other traits is among His Signs. He sorted men among different groups and nations, so that they may distinguish and recognize each other. How beautifully more than seven colours are combined together! Every species and every individual has been granted different smell and every flower is specific for its fragrance.

How difficult is to portray something perfectly and how difficult is not to repeat the same thing even once! Everything is a portrait and every portrait reflects its Creator. From the candle, burning the wax, to the planets, revolving the burnt Sun, from the atom of a grain to the rock that makes up a mountain; everything is not a mere coincident!

From the flower that smiles on 16th to the snow that melts on 9th, everything is related to one another but are as different as are my hands, from one another.

Arts lie in everything; from music to poetry or from painting to writing. But, if you look around, people are blind to see the changing days and nights and deaf to hear the sound of water falling in the heart. Those who are free of these disabilities are rare to find and busy to be accompanied. They leave us behind to fill our empty diaries with our empty pens. I am filling my dry pen with tears but could not catch the shadow of fast travellers.

My body is lying over the curtain of sand and my soul is wandering under the shadow of sky. Dividing myself in two and keeping both of them can never take me to either end. The boats have started travelling in opposite directions and my body cannot stretch more to restrain from falling into the black sea. One’s traditions and cultures are mixing with other’s traditions and cultures to form the abstract picture and interfere in the genome made by the Creator.

What could be the solution other than submission to the Righteous Guide travelling on Right Path and indicating the Musawwir?

Lao Tzu said,

‘Rejoice in the way things are. Live in the moment. When you successfully do this, the whole world belongs to you.’

Life is very complex to understand. The blazing sun is just behind the pillar shadowing you. Sometimes, the life looks too fake that the truth of past moment vanishes under light but sometimes, it looks too real that a single moment creates sorrow and happy moments.

Different Dimensions

Note: These topics are the drafts I created from time to time on random topics. I am posting them on internet to get your comments and criticism so I can improve them, if possible.

There are several different dimensions to see an object. Every dimension is different from other. Every dimension gives a different meaning and different direction to an object. Even a single word or a single sentence could be seen in different ways. Even a slight change of angle changes the perspective while a single dimension includes hundreds of angles. From a grain to a galaxy, everything has different dimensions to portray different perspectives.

The portraying of a picture depends upon the power of imagination one have. Even the good things could be used for wrong means. If good things could not be served for bad purposes, how Satan arose when the origin of everything was Nur? Allah says in Qur’an that translates as:
