Different Dimensions

There are several different dimensions to see an object. Every dimension is different from other. Every dimension gives a different meaning and different direction to an object. Even a single word or a single sentence could be seen in different ways. Even a slight change of angle changes the perspective while a single dimension includes hundreds of angles. From a grain to a galaxy, everything has different dimensions to portray different perspectives.

The portraying of a picture depends upon the power of imagination one have. Even the good things could be used for wrong means. If good things could not be served for bad purposes, how Satan arose when the origin of everything was Nur? Allah says in Qur’an that translates as:

Love and Mind

Note: These topics are the drafts I created from time to time on random topics. I am posting them on internet to get your comments and criticism so I can improve them, if possible.

One day, a to-be 21-years-old boy was eating hot noodles in a bowl. When he took his face near the bowl, his glasses were blurred by the vapours of Knorr Soupy noodles. He could not see while wearing the glasses. He put the glasses off and the vision became clear. At the first instance, he had to drink water to reduce the heat of noodles but, later, he did not take any glass of water.

The hot noodles were like the love and the glasses were like mind. When mind goes near to love, it gets blurred. A person cannot see the love with the eyes of mind.

The eyes behind the glasses were like the eyes of heart. When a person starts watching with the eyes of heart, his vision becomes clearer, in the case of love.

The mind and heart can never have same vision. The visions and decisions of heart are pure because neither they think nor they are selfish. Allama Iqbal said,

بے خطر کود پڑا آتشِ نمرود میں عشق

عقل ہے محوِ تماشائے لبِ بام ابھی

The heat of the love is more stronger than mind because it arises from the core of the heart. Love give rise to knowledge which is a source of enhancing mind and thinking. Allama Iqbal said,

ع          عشق ہے اُمّ الکتاب اور علم ہے ابن الکتاب

But that does not mean that you should leave mind forever. Sometimes, you should use mind and sometimes, you should leave the mind away (especially in the case of love). Allama Iqbal said,

اچھا ہے دل کے ساتھ رہے پاسبانِ عقل

لیکن کبھی کبھی اسے تنہا بھی چھوڑ دے

Love could be seen everywhere in the nature. The reason of the creation of the universe is LOVE. The red hot sun gives a glimpse of love. And the power of love could be understood by this single phenomenon of dying sun; even after the sun dies, it leaves the red colour of love on the face of sky.

Vision

On Saturday morning, a boy was standing in fog; the fog that fades the vision of a man. It also faded the vision of that 20-years-old boy. He was standing in front of a mirror-like window. The fog was descending slowly on his body. He was watching his reflection in the window. The window was reflecting him. He was watching the fog. The fog was being created from his breath. He was breathing from his heart. His heart was pumping blood in his whole body. He was watching himself as excellent, complete and total.

In this scenario, he could not note any fault in himself. Suddenly, he was distracted by the appearance of someone and was called to read. At that time, he realised that the glasses were missing that used to enhance his vision. The fog was the mean to deceive his vision.

The world is like a window, it only reflects what you want it to reflect and it only shows what you want to see. The Satan of proud is like the descending fog. The knowledge is like blood which regulates your body and life. The words he utters due to his knowledge are like his breath due to the circulation of his blood. The glasses were the glasses of truth that gives you an exact idea of your knowledge’s depth[1]. His words used to mix with cold air of ignorance that resulted in the Satan of proud.

The ignorant people are only a symbol that they don’t have knowledge[2]. They are never a symbol that the knowledge is limited[3].

[1] “The most knowledgeable person is that who observe and examine the depth of the sea of knowledge. He always thinks that his knowledge is nothing and he can have much more. He always has the thirst to drink the water of the sea of knowledge.” from ‘Choosing a Profession”.

Sea of knowledge is vast and deepest sea of the world. This is the sea where the world and its belongings look too small. Scholars are found drinking the water from this sea but no one had been able to empty this ocean. Every path takes you to a different river which ends up into thousands of small canals. Your life starts entering a canal and ends up with stepping out of it.

Beauty begs that beggar

Exactly a week ago, a face took all of my attention for a moment. After tuition, I was standing on a restaurant (Peshawari Kabab – پشاوری کباب) in Cantt. Driver went to the shop and I was sitting in the car. It is a fashion in Pakistan that beggars move car-to-car and man-to-man. Sometimes you even get the chance to meet that beggar again on the same place or sometimes, same beggar on different places.

Fulfilling that tradition, a young beggar came to my car and knocks the driver’s mirror. I just had a glimpse of her once. Then I pretended not to give her any attention. She was a beautiful young child. I even thought once or twice to give her money but I didn’t. When I noticed that she was not standing with the car, I thought she might be coming to the next mirror, just beside my seat. But when I turned to see her, I couldn’t get her again. I started watching everywhere while sitting in my car but I couldn’t found her the time I remained there. Later, I was discussing with my driver.

Small life for work

Life is really a gift from God. For satans, it is gift as they only love world and worldly things and for angels it is a gift as it is a battle field and examination hall. Here, the angel who wins, becomes a human and the one who fails becomes a satan.

فرشتہ کہہ کے میری توقیر نہ گھٹاؤ

میں مسجودِ ملائک ہوں مجھے آدم ہی رہنے دو

Human is superior from an angel and that’s why angels bowed the man. But it is not an easy task.

Knowledge without etiquettes

People used to say that a person who has less hairs on his head is a rich person or would be a rich person. The simple story behind it was that people used to believe that a person who has more tension  has less hairs. As the arrival of money increases the worry (not the worry of spending the money but the worry of saving it), so the hairs start falling. But, since the last decade, people use to say that the one who has less clothes on his body is more fashionable and rich. Likewise, it is said that more knowledgeable person has less etiquettes and respect for others, although we have ever listened that knowledge teaches etiquettes. The justification of these opposite things is that people just study knowledge but do not learn or apply that knowledge on themselves. Today, we will try to explain this issue.

Forgotten our Great forefathers.

I do not have time but I still want to shed some tears on Muslims and their recent history. I only want to say that Muslims have left the footsteps of their forefathers and non-Muslims are adopting those footsteps. This is the reason why non-Muslims have become the world power. Those golden words and acts of Great Muslims have the power to change the nations, to build the nations and to drive the nation perfectly through every wet and dry.

Why I am not interested in the West?

I have been hearing about the beauties of Europe from my childhood; Switzerland, Paris, Italy and its city Venice, Scotland, New York etc. But I am never attracted towards any of these. I have never expressed it but today, I want to pen on the topic “Why I am not interested in the West?”
