Faults Under Traditional Veils

Traditions were, sometimes, a way to keep alive, the good things of ancestors. Holy Prophet ﷺ said that good thing is a heritage for a believer; he should acquire it from wherever he can.

Traditions and cultures were once, a mean for the union of different people (who have gone far apart from each other) because they all are the children of Adam and Eve. But today, our Islamic traditions have been changed into Hindu traditions.

Building Brick

اِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لِلْمُؤُمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ يَشُدُّ بَعْضُه بَعْضًا

“One Muslim is like a building brick to the other. One part strengthens the other.”

Yesterday (10th January 2011), I was sitting in Punjab College’s office (Sialkot). I was watching at the tiles of floor and thinking; mostly I have seen the tiles in either horizontal and vertical lines, like the rows and columns of a table, or a diagonal shape. This was the first time I was watching the tiles in the shape as we place the building bricks; the bottom two bricks support the one brick on the upper layer, hence, making a sequence of five supporting four, four supporting three and, at last, three supporting two. This sequence of tiles took my attention to the building bricks, and finally, from building bricks to the Prophetic Tradition mentioned above.

Traditional and Conventional

I like to be traditional and conventional; I don’t know why I think, this is the reason why I like the history of my ancestors, Muslims and my nations. I feel pride in our traditions, cultures, and customs. My topic could be summarised in two proverbs:.

(i) Old is Gold.

(ii) All glitters are not gold.

Small life for work

Note: These topics are the drafts I created from time to time on random topics. I am posting them on internet to get your comments and criticism so I can improve them, if possible.

Life is really a gift from God. For satans, it is gift as they only love world and worldly things and for angels it is a gift as it is a battle field and examination hall. Here, the angel who wins, becomes a human and the one who fails becomes a satan.

فرشتہ کہہ کے میری توقیر نہ گھٹاؤ

میں مسجودِ ملائک ہوں مجھے آدم ہی رہنے دو

Human is superior from an angel and that’s why angels bowed the man. But it is not an easy task.

A look at Valentine’s Day

As-Salam-o Alaikom!

Valentine’s Day is such a famous event that a mother gives birth to a child later but teaches her about Valentine’s Day first. In Indian countries, the ratio of education is very low but, still, everyone knows that 14th February is Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, people know nothing more than that. Let’s take a look at “Valentine’s Day”.

My Lahore Trip–Minar-e-Pakistan

DSCF0671

Assalamo Alaikom.

After Badshahi mosque, we went to Minar-e-Pakistan. This is a 175 feet tall minaret (if I am recalling correctly what I was told in year 2004 or 2005, when I visited it). It was constructed in the memory of the Lahore Resolution (passed on 23rd May 1940). Liaquat Ali Shah Sahib told me that the workers used to construct it with ablution and his father was also the one among those workers. He further added that 2 workers died, by falling down, while putting the cap of this minaret.

My Lahore Trip–The Gold Quran Gallery.

Before going to Quran Gallery, we went to see the sacred things placed in that mosque. Those Holy things were collected by Muslim kings and, sometimes, presented to other each other. Whenever I go to Lahore, I want to see those things. The pictures are not allowed there.

My Lahore Trip – Badshahi Mosque

270620111049

The city of Lahore does not need any introduction to the people of sub-continent. Every child of Pakistan and India know about Lahore. It is very hard to think of even a single exception. Lahore is called as the heart of Punjab. The only city that comes after Karachi is Lahore. There is an oft-quoted proverb jinney Lahore nahi takya o jamya he nahi – the person who has not seen Lahore has not born yet.

Fake Imposters

Assalamo Alaikom.

Since the world is created, there are always, at least, two opposite and contradictory sides of every thing. As we know that faith is a thing that is firmly ingrained in someone’s mind and never want any proof to be proven truth. For this reason, faith has always been a great target of Satan and his followers. As faith is the heart of every religion, affecting faith means affecting the religion. And, from the first day, every religion had the black sheep that become fake imposters to get advantage on the name of faith and religion.

Forgotten our Great forefathers.

I do not have time but I still want to shed some tears on Muslims and their recent history. I only want to say that Muslims have left the footsteps of their forefathers and non-Muslims are adopting those footsteps. This is the reason why non-Muslims have become the world power. Those golden words and acts of Great Muslims have the power to change the nations, to build the nations and to drive the nation perfectly through every wet and dry.
