Sialkot International Airport (Video)

as-Salam-u Alaiykum.

I made a video of my village almost 10 years ago. The quality of the video was not good and things have also changed quite a lot. So, I decided to film it again. Still the actual task is uncompleted. I thought to add the Sialkot International Airport in the series as it is located in our surroundings.

The Chocolate We Are Eating? Halal or Haraam???

I never thought that a chocolate could be Halal or Haraam. What thing can make a chocolate haraam? Milk???

Yes, milk can make a chocolate haraam. We eat a lot of milk chocolates but we never wonder that which milk is it. Could this milk be of a haraam animal.

Does it matters if it is of a haraam animal or not???

Yes, it do matters. In Islam, every product of a haraam animal is also haraam.

Reference???

See the reference below.

Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:
I heard Allah’s Apostle, in the year of the Conquest of Mecca, saying, “Allah and His Apostle made illegal the trade of alcohol, dead animals, pigs and idols.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What about the fat of dead animals, for it was used for greasing the boats and the hides; and people use it for lights?” He said, “No, it is illegal.” Allah’s Apostle further said, “May Allah curse the Jews, for Allah made the fat (of animals) illegal for them, yet they melted the fat and sold it and ate its price.” [Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan an-Nisa’i, al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Ibn Maajah, Mishkaat, Sunan ad-Darmi, etc.]

It came to my mind when I was holding a chocolate wrapper which had printed on it “German Milk”.

German Milk?

The milk produced from Germany.

But Germany is not an Islamic country. There live many non-Muslims who do not have any prohibition of halal and haraam food. That means Germany HAS TO PRODUCE Halal as well as Haraam food. And, as Germany is not an Islamic country, it do NOT HAVE TO LABEL it as Halal or Haraam. So, it do not matters them whatever milk are they using for chocolate. But, it do matters a Muslim that which milk (product) is s/he consuming.

So, at last, it is a duty of a Muslim to verify which product is s/he consuming. But, how can an individual verify this thing? We do not ask anything from non-Muslim countries. We only ask from Muslim countries to also label the halal verified chocolates as Halal. In Muslim counties, like Pakistan, almost every product has a label of halal. So why not chocolates can have a halal label after verifying the contents of a chocolate?

Please think…..

My wish for mobile

If I ever have one wish regarding mobiles to be fulfilled, with guarantee, it would be to ban all kinds of SMS packages. I am daily annoyed with tens of messages. I am in this state when my friends know that I do not like a lot of messages. I am just wondering that what would have had happened to me if my friends didn’t knew about this thing. I should not wonder such thing when I had an experience like that. One day, I got 80 messages from only one friend. Among those 80, 50 were old messages. I am thankful to the person who introduced ‘Conversation’ option in inbox due to which I can delete all of the messages of one person without my favourite saved messages.

After that, I am thankful to my Nokia. In Nokia mobiles, there, sometimes, comes a problem that do not allow the user to send text messages. I got that problem in 2008 with my second e-65 while sending Eid-ul-Azha messages. I had another one which I sell in 2007 but never got the money, although I disturbed my uncle for almost 2 years to give me the money for the mobile he purchased saying that he will pay one thousand above the market price. The second time I got the problem with my present Nokia. I talked to the customer care of the SIM providers. They told me to clear all messages from the mobile. I done so and still can’t send a text message. However, I can send a blank message to any mobile. The moment I input some text and try to send, it fails. But, surprisingly, it never failed sending text messages when I respond to the messages of the service center or when I wanted to activate an SMS package (for sending advertisement messages and not jokes). The readers might be thinking that it’s problem with the company. No, it’s not like that. It’s same for every SIM in that mobile and the SIM works normal in any other mobile. It’s something with my mobile.

My Lahore Trip – Emperor Jehangir’s Tomb (part 2)

As-Salam-o Alaykum dear friends.

Now, we are on our last episode of ‘My Lahore Trip’. Today, we are continuing our tour to Emperor Jehangir’s Tomb. We have already given the description of King Jehangir and his tomb in our last episode. You can read it from there. But just briefing it, he was the son of the Mughal Emperor Akbar and the father of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan who ordered to build Taj Mahal. The tomb of Noor Jehan was built on her orders in her own life but the tombs of Jehangir and Asif Khan were built later, on the orders of Shah Jehan. No one can deny that Shah Jehan spent a lot of money on the constructions of tombs of his relatives. From where did all that money and labour came? It was the money of the poor people and the blood of the poor people could be found between the bricks of these tombs.

My Lahore Trip–Emperor Jehangir’s Tomb (part 1)

As-Salam-o Alaykum.

Today, we are heading towards the tomb of the Emperor Jehangir. Jehangir was the son of Akbar, the husband of Mehr-un-Nisa Noor Jehan and the father of Shah Jehan. His tomb and the tombs of his wife and brother-in-law were constructed later. The tomb of his wife was constructed in her life on her own orders, as we have read earlier. The tombs of Jehangir and his brother-in-law were constructed by his son, Shah Jehan, later. The only tomb that is still much beautiful among these three is the tomb of Jehangir. It is very strange to see this difference in his and his wife’s tomb. Might be the reason is that her wife was more indulged in the love of money and material world and Allah has shown us that the more you love money and material world, the more you will not be perished. Let’s move to the pictures.

Knowledge without etiquettes

People used to say that a person who has less hairs on his head is a rich person or would be a rich person. The simple story behind it was that people used to believe that a person who has more tension  has less hairs. As the arrival of money increases the worry (not the worry of spending the money but the worry of saving it), so the hairs start falling. But, since the last decade, people use to say that the one who has less clothes on his body is more fashionable and rich. Likewise, it is said that more knowledgeable person has less etiquettes and respect for others, although we have ever listened that knowledge teaches etiquettes. The justification of these opposite things is that people just study knowledge but do not learn or apply that knowledge on themselves. Today, we will try to explain this issue.

A look at Valentine’s Day

As-Salam-o Alaikom!

Valentine’s Day is such a famous event that a mother gives birth to a child later but teaches her about Valentine’s Day first.
