Thank You on a Tissue Paper

Today I received another tissue gift as I received two, previously. It was from same friend and I’ve same feelings for this. The difference this time is that the tissue paper was perfumed (and I guess it was not a perfumed-tissue-paper but he perfumed it by his hands) and I don’t know the reason this time.

My Valentine’s Day Gift

On 14th February, 2013, Thursday, I received a gift from my friend. Before that day, he inquired a few times from me, “Is it necessary that Valentine’s Day gift be given to a girl? Can’t we give it to a boy?”

It was very innocent question and it made me smile. 🙂

I have a few issues with Valentine’s Day with regard to our religion and culture but I didn’t rejected his gift and I liked it a lot because pure love was reflecting in it. It was so beautiful that a few errors in it are nothing in front of that  beauty. I liked it so much that I wanted to share it with the whole world. It was only tissue till the moment it was not selected for this gift. But as soon as he selected this tissue and started carving it into a piece of gold (or might be something greater), it became precious.

Jealousy

‘Why I do not have that thing what he has?’ This is because you think that he is superior to you because of that thing. Due to this, you wish that you should be on his place. This is jealousy – one form of lust.

What is superiority? Is it having more money when you cannot eat gold? Or is it having expensive clothes when they can crush you under mud? Is it having your order accepted when your own minister can stab you in your back? Or is it being known by everyone when they can say you bad on your back? Is it having everything that everyone have? Or is it having something that no one have? Is it superiority?

Sesame Heart

“Take my ring, in‘valuable’ in  the morning breeze”
His fingers lingered on the rusty silsil
He would take his sesame heart and let her eclipse.

Love and Mind

Note: These topics are the drafts I created from time to time on random topics. I am posting them on internet to get your comments and criticism so I can improve them, if possible.

One day, a to-be 21-years-old boy was eating hot noodles in a bowl. When he took his face near the bowl, his glasses were blurred by the vapours of Knorr Soupy noodles. He could not see while wearing the glasses. He put the glasses off and the vision became clear. At the first instance, he had to drink water to reduce the heat of noodles but, later, he did not take any glass of water.

The hot noodles were like the love and the glasses were like mind. When mind goes near to love, it gets blurred. A person cannot see the love with the eyes of mind.

The eyes behind the glasses were like the eyes of heart. When a person starts watching with the eyes of heart, his vision becomes clearer, in the case of love.

The mind and heart can never have same vision. The visions and decisions of heart are pure because neither they think nor they are selfish. Allama Iqbal said,

بے خطر کود پڑا آتشِ نمرود میں عشق

عقل ہے محوِ تماشائے لبِ بام ابھی

The heat of the love is more stronger than mind because it arises from the core of the heart. Love give rise to knowledge which is a source of enhancing mind and thinking. Allama Iqbal said,

ع          عشق ہے اُمّ الکتاب اور علم ہے ابن الکتاب

But that does not mean that you should leave mind forever. Sometimes, you should use mind and sometimes, you should leave the mind away (especially in the case of love). Allama Iqbal said,

اچھا ہے دل کے ساتھ رہے پاسبانِ عقل

لیکن کبھی کبھی اسے تنہا بھی چھوڑ دے

Love could be seen everywhere in the nature. The reason of the creation of the universe is LOVE. The red hot sun gives a glimpse of love. And the power of love could be understood by this single phenomenon of dying sun; even after the sun dies, it leaves the red colour of love on the face of sky.

Knowledge without etiquettes

People used to say that a person who has less hairs on his head is a rich person or would be a rich person. The simple story behind it was that people used to believe that a person who has more tension  has less hairs. As the arrival of money increases the worry (not the worry of spending the money but the worry of saving it), so the hairs start falling. But, since the last decade, people use to say that the one who has less clothes on his body is more fashionable and rich. Likewise, it is said that more knowledgeable person has less etiquettes and respect for others, although we have ever listened that knowledge teaches etiquettes. The justification of these opposite things is that people just study knowledge but do not learn or apply that knowledge on themselves. Today, we will try to explain this issue.

A look at Valentine’s Day

As-Salam-o Alaikom!

Valentine’s Day is such a famous event that a mother gives birth to a child later but teaches her about Valentine’s Day first. In Indian countries, the ratio of education is very low but, still, everyone knows that 14th February is Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, people know nothing more than that. Let’s take a look at “Valentine’s Day”.
